The Adventure Continues...
December 12, 2013 marks my third year living with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I must admit, it has not been easy and only people with ALS, their families, their doctors and the ALS Association know what I am talking about.
My goal is to make it to April 12, 2014 and help The ALS Association kick off another successful Ski to Defeat ALS event.
So far, from our two events you helped us raise over $330.000. For 2014 we only need $167.000 to reach 1/2 million dollars. I am confident that this is an attainable goal, but it cannot happen without your continued help and generosity.
I have the support of the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter of The ALS Association. They are here for me every step of the way, helping me navigate this journey with ALS and providing me the tools, resources and equipment necessary to stay in control of my life.
I am asking you to join me in building awareness about ALS and raising funds for finding a cure by making a donation to The ALS Association. Over the years we've accomplished so many things together, but this will be our ultimate achievement.
